As President of the National Union of Fish Canning Industries of Morocco (UNICOP), it is close to my heart to share with you the vision that guides our organization and shapes our daily commitment.

Defending our members' interests:
The Union aims to be the voice of every stakeholder in Morocco's fish canning sector. We work tirelessly to defend their interests, whether by representing our industry before public authorities, promoting our products in domestic and international markets, or ensuring fair and favorable conditions for the growth of our companies.

Sustainability of the resource:
Preserving fishery resources is at the heart of our action. We firmly believe that responsible and sustainable management of our marine resources is not only an ecological necessity, but also an economic imperative to ensure the longevity of our industry. We actively support sustainable fishing practices and work with the relevant authorities to strengthen regulations that protect our oceans.

Food sovereignty:
As key players in the food chain, we bear the responsibility of contributing to our country's food sovereignty. Our sector plays a crucial role in supplying high-quality seafood that is accessible to the entire population. We are determined to strengthen this sovereignty by building a resilient industry, capable of meeting national needs while preserving the balance of our marine ecosystems.

Job creation and economic development:
The fish canning industry is a major driver of job creation and economic development, particularly in Morocco's coastal regions. We are committed to playing an active role in energizing the local economy by fostering sustainable employment and investing in our workers' skills. Our commitment to territorial equity translates into greater support for local initiatives and the promotion of projects that benefit every region of the Kingdom.
